Lindsey's Graduation Part 2

Saturday morning we got up and got ready.  We headed to breakfast and then on to Mizzou Arena for Honors Convocation.  At Mizzou, every college/school graduates separately (so Lindsey only graduated with the College of Nursing students), which makes the ceremonies so much nicer and shorter.  But for anyone that graduates Magna, Summa, or Cum Laude they have a special Honors ceremony.  So that's what we had on Saturday morning.

She liked to switch places a LOT during the ceremonies...

 Since Mizzou Arena (the place where Mizzou plays basketball) is indoors and is a really huge circle with lots of stuff to see, we brought her stroller.  She obviously couldn't sit still very long, and so I took her out and we walked around the arena a billion times.  We watched and listened to everything, but I think we both had a LOT more fun this way!

The ceremony really didn't last that long, so we were able to go to one of our FAVORITE restaurants afterward.  We ate at Flat Branch out on the patio and then walked around downtown for awhile.  (Mizzou people - I even got to use the bathroom upstairs at Candy Factory so I got to see Willy Wonka's factory again!  AWESOME! HA!)

We just had the BEST weekend.  I was honestly worried because Brynn hadn't slept in a hotel before, never been on that long of a car ride, etc. but she just did awesome!  (And I'm not just saying that...she can definitely get in a mood, get fussy, throw a little fit, etc. but NOT this weekend.)  It was just A WONDERFUL trip!  Lindsey - WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH and we are so proud of you!
