Halloween 2013 - Sweet Little Tinkerbell's

Halloween 2013 - Our first Halloween with TWO GIRLS!

About a month ago Brynn decided she wanted to be Tinkerbell, so we headed to Toys R Us where we found a cute little Tinkerbell outfit.  They also had a baby Tinkerbell "outfit" (just a hat and a bib...but perfect for Emory!)  I'm thinking now I should have dressed up Ryan as Peter Pan!  HA!

Halloween was rainy and yucky and we had to cancel our original plans.  (Every year our church puts on these big block parties in people's yards, and we were going to help out and play/trick-or-treat over there, but the weather was not looking good and they were cancelled).  But then, by around 5:00 the rain had stopped and we realized we might actually get to take Brynn trick-or-treating!  We headed over to my parents house to "practice" how to trick or treat.  =)  Then Emory ended up staying with my parents, while Brynn and I headed to pick up Ryan from work and meet up with some friends to go trick-or-treating.

We were practicing how to "trick-or-treat"...we did pretty good!
Brynn got a special little treat from Grandma...she is REALLY into Sophia the First, and Grandma got her "Sophia's amulet" necklace that talks...she LOVES IT and I think she has only taken it off for naps and nighttime! HA!

And here's sweet little baby Tinkerbell.  Just putting on her little outfit was enough to tire her out!  HA!

Since the church block parties were cancelled, we headed over to our friends house to trick or treat in their neighborhood.  There were KIDS EVERYWHERE and we had lots of fun! When we got to the Mayhew's house, Marlee was so sweet with Brynn!

Brynn was Tinkerbell, both Ansley and Charli were Rapunzel, and Marlee and Maeryn were mermaids!

Watching Brynn trick-or-treat was precious.  She would watch Marlee and Ansley and run as fast as she could to catch up with them.  Then she'd watch them and do exactly what they did.  She got so excited to get the candy.  She usually grabbed into people's candy bowls WHILE she was saying "trick or treat".  =)  And then we'd have to remind her to say thank you before they were all off to the next house.  I was enjoying watching her SO MUCH!

We had gone to less than six or seven houses when the sky opened up and it started POURING down rain!  We all ran as fast as we could back to Mark and Heather's house!  The kids ended up eating candy and playing and we were all hanging out when we heard the TORNADO SIRENS going off!  WHAT?  We all headed to the basement together to wait it out.  What a night!  HA!

Jason was drying off after getting SOAKED!

Basement time...

Thankfully the weather cleared up and everything was fine, but I wish we had gotten to let Brynn trick-or-treat at a few more houses!  Oh well...there's always next year, right?  I can't wait to watch BOTH girls next year!  HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
