Day 2 - Dollywood

On Saturday morning we woke up to a beautiful fall morning.  Ryan and I made a cup of coffee (and added some pumpkin spice creamer that we brought for the trip....yum!) and headed to the big deck to enjoy the beautiful morning!  A little while later, the girls were up and we had a big breakfast and then headed to Dollywood!  I had never been there before and it was awesome!

Brynn's face is so funny in this picture!

Hanging out on the big back porch...so fun!

The girls loved playing on the pool table...although it involved banging the balls on the table,
hitting the pool sticks on the table, and rolling the balls everywhere...
Then it was Dollywood time...

Uncle Kyle was ready to take the girls to Dollywood!  Woohoo!
Kyle has been there many times (since he lives in Knoxville) and he was a GREAT tour guide...
he knew right where to go for everything!

Baby Charli hadn't joined us yet...Jason and Sarah both had to work some on Friday, so they just
drove halfway after work on Friday, and while we went to Dollywood on Saturday morning they were
driving the second half of the trip...and they had Charli with them.  But we took advantage of their
double stroller...

A mum tree...so fallish!  Dollywood was DECKED out in all fallish decor...so cute!

Ryan, Kyle, Ansley, Brynn, and me all riding the carousel!

Then it was off to ride the elephants...they had to have an adult ride with them on this one.
Uncle Kyle rode with Ansley, I rode with Brynn, and Ryan rode by himself in front of us so he could try to take
some pictures during the ride.

She seemed a little nervous at first, but after a couple of spins she was loving it!  There was a button
you'd press to make the elephants go higher in the air and she kept saying 'more, more!"
It was SO MUCH FUN riding with her!

I feel like most people's kids know how to smile and say "cheese" by Brynn's age.
Clearly, this child has not learned this yet!  Anyone have any tips to speed up this process?  HA!

HAHAHAHA!
After the elephants we went over to the little kiddie area where they have about 5 rides that seriously
do the same thing...go around in a circle.  One has ducks, one has bees, etc.  HA!
We didn't know how Brynn would do riding by herself, so Ryan decided to ride the first one with her.
He was having a little too much fun!

We clearly figured out that she loved the rides and didn't need us to ride with her (tear!)
I was SO GLAD she had fun.  She would get off one ride and say "more, more?"

We were joking that we are NOT ready to see these two in a real car anytime soon!

ADORABLE!
Then it was time to ride the real train!  It was about a 20 minute ride all through Dollywood.  It was about lunch time, so we just let the girls eat on the train.  And then she kept saying "choo choo!"

How cute is Ansley's hair?  It is so long and has such pretty curls!

When we got off the train it had started raining...but it was nap-time anyway, so it worked out just fine.  We headed home, put Brynn down for a nap, and had a relaxing afternoon of watching college football and napping ourselves!  Then that evening we ate at this place called Bullfish Grill, which was DELICIOUS!  We went home and watched the Mizzou game, which was TERRIBLE because we lost a close game to Vandy.  Oh well...can't win them all.  (Or this year I should say "can't win any"...ha!)  What a FUN day!
