We had been planning a Labor Day trip to take the whole family to Knoxville to visit Lindsey and Curt. Ryan couldn't get off early on Friday, so we just planned for the girls and I to ride with my parents and Ryan would drive up after work. We got on the road around 9:00 and I was praying the girls wouldn't drive my parents crazy on the drive...HA!
The drive went great (Dad actually said "wow...that went about ten times better than I thought!) HA! and about two hours before we arrived the girls fell asleep with Grandma in the backseat. =) (Yes, Grandma is pretending to be asleep because every time Emory would look over at her she wanted to see her eyes closed...ha!)
They woke up right as we were getting there and they were so excited to go see where Aunt Lindsey works!
Linz had some old gloves and pretend stuff so she showed Brynn "how to give a shot"...Brynn thought she was so cool!
They practiced giving a banana a "shot".
Brynn LOVED seeing Lindsey's old practice stuff and putting band-aids and gauze on things...who knew some old plastic purple gloves would be so cool!
Linz and Curt out-did themselves for dinner and it was SO YUMMY! We saved Ryan a big plate. =)
We put Emory to bed around 8:30 and the rest of us stayed up watching tv and visiting and waiting until Ryan got there. =) Let the fun weekend begin!
