Last Week in iPhone Pics

Last week flew by and was so much fun!  I worked Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of last week (that will be my normal schedule after the first of the year) because it was our last week of school, and we had so much going on with Christmas program stuff, little parties, etc.

Tuesday Brynn and I went to school, then grocery shopping, before our monthly Parents As Teachers meeting.  Since Ryan is off on Tuesdays, we decided to head to the mall to take the girls to see Santa, and then we met Ryan's parents and Jason and Sarah and the girls out to eat because Jason and Sarah had just gotten back from Disney!  Ansley even bought Brynn a present with some of her money and she was SO EXCITED to give it to her!

Wednesday we had school and Brynn's Wednesday class did a little program for the parents in the morning...I will write about Brynn's singing in another post (about her bigger Christmas program), but it was so adorable!  And after school her teachers gave her a special Christmas present...can you tell she was so excited about this Christmas bear?  We even videoed a little message for her teacher and Brynn was going "thank you Miss Shee-lah, I WUV it!"  HA!  (We are so blessed by her two teachers, Mrs. Sheila and Mrs. Diane!  When I knew Brynn wouldn't be going to Nonna's this year, I was so sad because NO ONE can replace our Nonna.  I am so glad Emory still gets to go.  But God has totally provided with two amazing women that teach Brynn's class and we love them so very much.  They love Brynn and as a parent that is the best feeling!)

On Wednesday Brynn goes to school with one of her best little friends..here they are after singing together in their Christmas program.  After they sang, we had set out cookies and punch and snacks for all the parents.

After school on Wednesday we came home and played downstairs.  I was hosting our preschool teachers Christmas party the next night and I was getting out serving dishes and plates, etc.  Brynn was going through all our basement cabinets and getting out old cubs and plates and spoons.  She had a BLAST "setting" the table and she was a hoot.  I swear she went on for about thirty minutes.  I looked over and she had her head on her hands and she was saying "okay, I gotta figure this out.  Mommy, you want a poon (spoon) and fork for the party?  Mommy, where you want sit for the party?  You need a cup here?  Okay...let me get a cup...and she went on and on!"  I could NOT stop smiling it was so much fun!  Here is the table she set out...pretty good, right?

The whole Footprints Preschool had their big Christmas program on Thursday.  Brynn's class didn't take a nap because the program started at 1:30.  After we got done cleaning up and got in the car she was OUT in about three minutes.  Both of the girls were asleep in the car and I seriously just drove around for over an hour and listened to Christmas music...it was so nice!  HA!

Later Thursday night Ryan took the girls over to his parents house and he played with them over there, while all the teachers and workers from Footprints came over to our house for our Christmas party.  We ate yummy party food and had a hilarious ornament exchange....it was SO MUCH FUN!
