I'm running out of titles for everyday life pictures...=)

I have lots of pictures of just everyday life, and I do not have cool titles for these posts.  =)  Nor do I care to spend a lot of time thinking of them...hence my cool title.  HA!

It still amazes me that on any given evening we can just plop a chair in the backyard and try to catch fish...the girls love to do this!

Brynn loves crafts...loves.  The other day the girls got suckers from somewhere.  Emory had hers gone in about five minutes.  Brynn on the other hand, saved hers, and when we got home she made a "craft" out of it by sticking on google eyes.  She was so proud.  =) What???

I LOVE fall.  On Saturday morning for breakfast we had "Adam and Eve on a raft" (that's what my dad always called them growing up).  But instead of just cutting a circle out of the middle we cut pumpkins!  YUMMY!  I may have also put some pumpkin pie spice in my coffee!

Later on Saturday morning, Pamaw took the two big girls to get their nails done...they were so excited!  So glad she sent me these pics!

On Monday Brynn and I ran some errands and she brought along her little money bag and we stopped at Bath and Body Works.  She LOVES to save quarters and take four or five of them in and pick out a hand sanitizer (which she calls "hanitizers."

On Tuesday after school we had to stop by Walmart...love these two!

If anyone has a cool title for these posts...lay it on me.  =)

First Week of Footprints 2015

I can't say enough what a "God thing" it is to be working at Footprints Pre-School at our church and how blessed our family is for our girls to go there!  I LOVE my job and I don't want to take for granted how special it is that I get to do what I love and my girls can go there too.  I LOVE being able to peek in their rooms as I walk past to deliver copies or snacks, and to help their teachers get things ready for their class projects.

I am so excited for this school year because both the girls go there full-time with me (we are only open on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) and it's fun to spend our mornings there and be home by 3 in the afternoon each day.

This year Brynn is the big man on campus in the Pre-K class =) and Emory is in the 2's class!  They have both been SO EXCITED for school and love it so much!  Here they are on the first day...

Brynn's Pre-K teacher is our neighbor who I taught kindergarten with at Orchard.  She had been home with her kiddos and since they are both old enough to be back in school she was looking for something part-time.  We are THRILLED to have her as our Pre-K teacher and the things she has already taught the kids has been awesome.  Mrs. Jan is her assistant and I just LOVE her.  She's worked at Footprints for many years and is a family friend.  She is AWESOME!  They make a great team and I can tell they are so excited about this year.

Emory is with Mrs. Diane and Mrs. Sheila, and they are wonderful and amazing.  Two years old is a hard age, but they love every minute with those kids and we are blessed to have them!  I love when they snap pictures and send them to me...Mrs. Sheila said "oh boy, already running the class!"  HA!

In the 2's class they sleep on nap mats, which Emory hadn't done before.  I remember it took Brynn a couple of weeks when she was in that class to get the routine of sleeping on a mat down, but thankfully Emory only took that one first day (with no nap), and has napped everyday since then.  But let me tell you..that first day she was a BEAR after school.  (Yes, her shoes are on the wrong feet.  She likes to "do it myself!"

I took this picture because my friend Karry that teaches in the 1's class has a little girl with Emory in the 2's and we were texting after school that day and the messages were something like "is yours a bear this afternoon?"  YES!  =)

Thankfully the other days she has napped and adjusting to our back to school routine isn't so bad!  And I'll be honest...the fact that the girls are ready for bed by 7:30 or 8 is just fine by me!  #bigbrother #bachelorinparadise #mommytime

One of the little boys Emory was in class with last year is in her class again, and I guess she was really excited to see him?  HA!  Mrs. Sheila said "uh-oh...it might be too early to start this!"  HA!  Ryan kept saying "Emory..who were you hugging at school?"  The only boys you can hug are Daddy and Grandpa and Papaw!  LOL!

Love getting pics from her teacher...so sweet!

Helping her friend Abbie-Kayte put her shoe on.  =)

So thankful for a great first couple of weeks!

Weekend Before School Starts

Friday before school started we met some friends at the Water Park...

On the way out I realized it was time to admit that maybe these shorts have lost their elasticity (I swear they fit a couple of months ago...but it seems like they keep stretching out and there is no going back!)

Hilarious!

Saturday morning we got up and watched a little bit of the football scrimmage at SEMO...

and then stopped by Sunny Hill to pick up some herbs for a project.  =)  (Love projects!)

My dad had some really cool old wood in his workshop and I had been seeing cool pictures of indoor plants/herb gardens.  I wanted some real plants in our kitchen so he made these boxes for me.

Saturday night we got Mexican food with Jared and Kelly and then headed to the new Jackson elementary school to let the kids play.  We "taught" them how to play tetherball and we all had a lot of fun playing against each other!  I actually beat Ryan in an epic game!

Cookie pics/This and That

Sisters...

Trips to Hobby Lobby have been so fun because of SANTA!

Brynn got to go on a special water park play-date with her friend Bella...Brandi sent me these sweet pics of the girls at the water park.

Enjoying our porch swing on summer nights...

My kids have Ryan's habit of eating condiments...it is so gross!

I loved how these Mason Jar cookies turned out!

And anytime we mention the name Penny, Emory automatically says "God rest her soul"...so when this old picture came up I had to re-post it.  I kid you not, Emory saying that phrase has been going on for like two weeks and it cracks us up!
