Cruise Monday - Bippity Boppity Boutique

Monday morning we were going to be at sea all day, so we got tickets to a princess meet and greet, and then Pamaw gifted the girls with an appointment at the Bippity Boppity Boutique!

Emory actually walked up to a character!  She was obsessed with everyone from far away, but get her within about three feet and she would freak out!  HA!

Off to the boutique...the girls had a BLAST!  They thought they were BIG BIG stuff!

The age requirement for doing makeup and a big appointment was 3, so poor Charli was about two months shy.  They let her sit in the chair but she was so disappointed she didn't get the full make-over.  So sweet little Brynn took her out in the hallway and did a make-over on her!   HILARIOUS!

Later that afternoon after naps Brynn and I did something so fun together...Emory was still sleeping and Ryan wanted to take a nap so Brynn and I headed to the movie theater to watch Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day.  It was AWESOME.  We laughed so hard!  Brynn was in this hilarious mood and at some of the funny parts in the movie she would laugh and she got that belly laugh and just could not stop laughing...like the whole theater had gotten quiet and she was still laughing.  It is one of the moments I will NEVER forget!  So fun!

Dance Party before heading in to the dining room!

The third dining room was called the "Royal Court" and was set up like Cinderella's castle dining room.  It was so fancy and the girls were so excited!

Lest I give the impression that dinners were a calm and fancy affair...please see below pic.  They calmed down quite a bit once this little one went to play with Miss Dee Dee...but we were a traveling circus (as were many families on board) and we just embraced it!

Our servers were Ayshang and Randy and they were FABULOUS!  Ayshang even cut Brynn's steak for her!  HA!

And Randy made the girls some beautiful origami birds!

Pics from earlier in the day...princess meet and greet!  Brynn would go stand by them but was still super shy and Emory wouldn't let anyone hold her but mommy....awesome.  So maybe next time we will get better pictures of the girls with the princesses...=)

Cruise Sunday - Sailing at Sea

Sunday morning we started out by having breakfast up on the deck...it was GORGEOUS and it always amazes me just how much water is in the world!  HA!  After breakfast we went up to this little pool deck and they had this tiny baby pool that all the girls wanted to play in.  After we played a little bit Brynn and Sarah and Pam and I were laying out and then "the incident" happened.  HA!

Brynn stood up on this little stoop area and was waving to me and I was trying to take her picture.  I don't know if it was just super windy but somehow she lost her balance and fell down four steps into someone's pool chair.  Like she totally CRASHED down.  It was pretty bad.  She was screaming and I didn't know where Ryan was.  Anyway - we finally got her to calm down and Ryan got up there but then he was freaking out because she had a knot the size of Texas on her forehead.  Several staff members said we should take her down to the Doctor/First Aid area of the ship.  We talked to one of the doctors and he said to just keep an eye on her but he thought she would be okay.  They gave us tons of shakeable ice packs and we got her an Ariel cup smoothie =) and she was okay.  But still kind of mopey for the next couple of hours.  It hurt her to chew food that's how sore her little head was.  YIKES!  The next day and the next subsequent days she would wake up every morning and her eye would be blacker and blacker...so she totally had a black eye for the second half of the trip.  Thankfully, she was/is totally fine, but it was a little hairy for awhile!

After "the incident" we were supposed to go see Anna and Elsa.  We almost missed it, but we made it at the very end.  Unfortunately, all the craziness had just happened and she was totally crying through the whole thing.  Poor girl!  She perked up after that and we had lunch and had a great rest of the day.  She and Ansley and the little girls all went to the children's areas that night and we had an adult-dinner for Formal Night which was WONDERFUL!  The girls had a blast and even got to meet princesses in the Kids Club, so all was well.  We finished the night with some milk and cookies!

We have some pictures from my phone and some pictures from the camera...so bear with me because we might be duplicating a little bit.

The knot had gone down a ton, but see the right side (her left) of her face...holy cow!

pics from the phone..

This was right before she fell...I should have never let her get off that chair! =)

The the "black-eye incident happened..." I tried to help her feel better with a $20 Ariel smoothie (just kidding...it wasn't $20 but it totally seemed like it!)

Fast forward to the evening when all was well and the girls were really excited to go to Kids Club... here she is scanning her bracelet thing.

When the big girls went to Kids Clubs, the little ones (2 and under) went to the nursery, which was AMAZING!  It was seriously one of the most unexpected highlights of the trip.  Emory took to "Dee Dee" and just fell in love with her!  The whole trip all we heard (other than her screaming when she saw Minnie) was "Dee Dee".  Dee Dee was British and was maybe 22 or 23.  She was the sweetest thing and just loved Emory to death.  It made it AWESOME because every night for dinner they would bring Emory's food and we would let her eat before we even got our food.  Then she would say "Dee Dee" and we would take her up to play with Miss Dee Dee while we got to eat and enjoy our food.  Knowing that she was so excited to go play with all the stuff and knowing that she wanted to see her Dee Dee was so sweet and really good for this mama's heart!

Formal night...we were having some fun with a little impromptu photo shoot...HA!

This night we ate in the Enchanted Garden restaurant, which was beautiful and so nice!

It was only the second night and already our waiter knew Ryan all too well...just bring this boy TONS of food and he will be a happy camper...HA!

Our little room had a big curtain dividing it in half, so we'd put Emory in her pack in play to go to sleep, and sometimes we would let Brynn stay up and we would watch Disney movies together at night.  And the milk and cookies were awesome!
