4th Annual Reindeer Games

Every year, one of the best nights of the Christmas season is when all of our extended family is in town and we go to my Aunt Tina and Uncle Bruce's house in Zalma and eat yummy food, visit, and play silly games.  This year was NO exception!

Nixon playing with Emory, and Ebby Lee and Brynn coloring away...SO SWEET!

Playing with Grandpa and Tab...

Then we had a mock "draft" to pick teams for our "Reindeer Games" (Minute-to-Win-It Games...Christmas style).  Things got a little rowdy.  =)  To put it mildly.  =)

Things started off calmly enough...just stacking dice on popsicle sticks.

And then we played this "pass the orange" game and it was HILARIOUS...

It seemed like maybe a game that only married couples should play...HAHA!  Luckily...the two in the picture below ARE married.  =)

The little kids had so much fun watching that they wanted to try to play.

Then we played some game that involved putting vasoline on your nose and dipping them in cotton balls and transferring them from one bowl to another.  I single-handedly lost this game for my team.  Sorry guys!  I was TERRIBLE!

Definitely Pawpaw's girl!

Thanks Ty for being a great "horsey."  HA!

Then Erika organized the kids and they put on a play about the Christmas story.  It was SO cute, and really funny!

Another one of my favorite parts of the evening...singing Christmas carols while Uncle Tim played the guitar.   Emory especially loved listening to the music.  So cute!

I can't even imagine the games we will come up with for next year.,..watch out!
