Big Girl Shopping Trip with Pamaw

Last Friday we had such a fun and special day.  Pamaw wanted to take the "big girls" shopping in St. Louis.  So Pamaw, Ansley, Aunt Sarah, me, and Brynn all loaded up and headed off for a girl's day!

First stop...American Girl store!  Ansley got an American Girl doll for Christmas, and Brynn LOVES playing with our old American Girl dolls when she goes to my parents house.  So she got to take along my sister's old "Molly" doll and she thought she was BIG STUFF!

Look at this next picture...hilarious!  I think this girl is going to be a shopper...

Brynn picked out a gymnastics outfit for Molly and when we got to the Cheesecake Factory we had to change Molly into her new outfit!

The American Girl store is at the Chesterfield Mall, and there is a Cheesecake Factory right next to it.  That's one of our FAVORITE FAVORITE places to eat so of course that's where we went for lunch.  One of the funniest things is that they have highchairs for the dolls!  (I guess so many little girls were bringing their dolls in that the Cheesecake Factory invested in the dolls highchairs??  When we walked to the bathroom, I bet we passed at least TEN dolls around the restaurant!)

Ansley wanted me to take pictures of each doll and their new puppy dogs...HA!

And we had to splurge on some cheesecake!

This is when they kept reenacting the scene from Frozen where Anna and Elsa say "what's that amazing smell?"
"CHOCOLATE!"  They were HILARIOUS!

After the American Girl store and Cheesecake Factory, we headed to this new outdoor mall/outlet area.  We hit up the Disney store and then Children's Place.  We got a LOT of spring and summer clothes for the girls...Pamaw LOVES to make up for the fact that she spent years buying BOY clothes and she is HILARIOUS and so much fun to go shopping with.  She even let the girls pick out new sunglasses and jewelry...THEY WERE HAVING A BLAST!

When we headed home around 4:30, neither girl made it very far before they were OUT.  A good day of shopping will wear a girl out...

We had such a great day and made such special memories!  Thank you Pamaw for a great shopping trip!
