St. Paddy's Day Breakfast

For the record I am WAY behind on blogging...I have a bunch of posts I need to do, and some posts are going to be way out of order but oh well.  =)

St. Patrick's Day was on a Monday and so on Monday morning when Brynn woke up, we decided to have a festive little St. Paddy's Day breakfast.  We normally just eat something easy, like cereal or waffles or oatmeal, but we decided to make green scrambled eggs and little smokies!  We even dyed our milk green and Brynn thought it was SO COOL.  (Then the next day she asked if we could dye the milk pink, and I had to explain that we could only dye our milk on special occasions. HA!)

Brynn thought it was so fun to squirt in the green food coloring and stir it up.  "Look...it's green mommy!"

Then we got to work making scrambled eggs...she helped stir them up and dye them green.

Emory was getting in on the St. Patrick's Day fun with her light green onesie.  :)

Our "feast" included green milk, green scrambled eggs, green grapes, some little smokies and some toast.  It was YUMMY!

Later that day (after naptime) we made some "rainbow" fruit skewers and they were AWESOME!  (But I forgot to take a picture of the finished product.)  They had strawberries, mandarin oranges, pineapple, green grapes, blueberries, blackberries, and purple grapes.  Brynn loved sticking the fruit on and ate so much of it!  HA!

And Emory hung out on a blanket in the kitchen and played while we made them.

One of the funniest (is that a word?) parts of the day was when we got ready to go to the gym.  Brynn had on some pants with green in them, but just a plain white shirt.  She started saying "mommy, people gonna pinch me on my arms cause I don't have green on my shirt!"  She seriously thought if she wasn't covered in green then those body parts would get pinched!  HA!
