Weekend Recap...

Wow...this past week has been crazy, busy, and fun!  I've been subbing quite a lot in November, and this week I subbed on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.  Then on Thursday and Friday we had some play dates and ran errands and just enjoyed being around the house.  Thursday night over dinner we had to practice our "cheese" face since we are taking pictures for Christmas cards soon.  =)  Daddy is really trying to show Brynn how to say "cheese."  Quite the exaggeration but whatever works, right Ryan?

Brynn's attempt...
Then Friday after work, Ryan headed out hunting again.  We met my parents for supper, walked around the mall looking at Christmas decorations, and then headed back to their house for a slumber party.  =)  Saturday morning before Brynn woke up I ordered some family Christmas stockings.  I have been wanting some cute stockings for EVER, and I finally decided to splurge.  I also decided to tell my husband AFTER I ordered them...not always the best policy, but in this case, it works.  =)

I took this picture on my phone so I could send it to Lindsey and Erika.  I needed moral support
that these stockings were SO CUTE that Ryan would have to agree that we HAD to get them!  HA!
Then we helped Grandma and Grandpa make some yummy breakfast!

Brynn and I went with my mom to run some fun errands (Trees and Trends, etc.) and then we headed home for lunch and naps.  Ryan got home during the afternoon, and we decided we'd take some pictures for our family Christmas card.  Snapfish has a deal going on right now (until November 22) that you can get Christmas cards 55% off if you type in the coupon code HUGESALE so I wanted to take advantage and use it!  I saved a lot of money!!  I also helped my mom make her card...I jokingly told her "look, I'm already in that stage of life where I have to take care of my ailing parents and my children!" HA!

My parents met us at the park and my mom took some pictures.  Taking family pictures for a card stresses me out!  I think it took about three years off my life taking those pictures, but we got some cute ones.  Actually, in the one I used in our card Brynn has the cutest face I've ever seen in a picture!  I sent my sister the picture and she said "cute, but don't use it on your card.  It looks like Ryan and Brynn are taking a cute picture together and you are stuck out next to them."  I agonized over what to do, and finally decided that I love the picture so much that I'm going to use it anyway, although I appreciate my sweet sister's advice.  =) HA!

Later that night we went out to dinner with some friends for my sister-in-law Sarah's birthday and had a BLAST!

Today we are relaxing and getting ready to put up all of our Christmas decorations...should be fun and crazy!
