Look "Whoo's" ONE Birthday Party!

Saturday evening we celebrated Brynn's birthday with an owl themed party!  My friend Lauren made the CUTEST invitations that said "Guess WHOO'S turning one!"  We had the party at my parents house (for the extra room).  So many of our family and friends came and we had so much fun celebrating!  Get ready for PICTURE OVERLOAD!

Birthday banner...can you believe I made it?  HA!  My sister helped me make the tissue puffs,
and we brought the owls over from her room.

I found this idea on Pinterest and it turned out pretty close to the original!
We just used cupcakes and candy to decorate it!

Brynn had her little smash cake, but other than that we just had this "mama owl" and "baby owl"
cupcakes as the cake.

Dessert table...plus party favor bags.

Owl smash cake.

All ready for the party!
There used to be this really cute store in our town that made bows, kids clothes, etc.
The lady who owned it closed it down but she still does custom orders.
I ordered this little "guess whoo's one" shirt and since she was a few days late in getting it to me
she made the bow and tutu for FREE!
WAHOO...it is the cutest little outfit!

We hung a few balloons outside the house.

The grillmasters...Curt, Ryan, and my Uncle Bruce.  Thanks boys!

Frankie, Mr. Dave (Frankie's grandpa), and Brynn.

You think she loves the trampoline??
The weather was so nice that we were able to eat and play outside!
The bigger kids had a LOT of fun jumping and playing.

Eating outside in the beautiful weather...

How cute were these plates?
I tried not to go overboard, so I only bought the owl plates (as opposed to the owl
cups, napkins, etc.)  HA!
I don't think I took any pictures of the food table...but we had mini-burgers and little "pigs in a blanket,"
chips and dip, broccoli salad, and all the desserts.

What we affectionately called the "old-timers table!'' HA!
Uncle Bruce and Aunt Tina, my Grandma Sally, my dad, Ryan's grandma Agatha, my Grandma
and Grandpa Hency, and my mom.

Lindsey and Curt made these little "owl nests" with chow mein noodles, peanut butter,
and chocolate, and then filled them with jelly beans!

Another Pinterest idea was these little owl cupcakes...

We had this "month" banner hanging above the dessert table.
We saved the month stickers that we used every month on her onesie
and stuck them on the banner too.

We gathered everyone together, lit the little number one candle, and sang her Happy Birthday.
Then we let her dig in.

Trying to share with Ansley and Maksim.

I think she liked digging her hands in the icing more than eating the cake.

YUM!

She got pretty messy!

Opening presents!

Ansley and Marlee were good helpers!

She gots so many cute clothes and fun toys...thank you everyeone!

YAY!  I love my toys!

Hanging out with Pawpaw.

My three grandparents...my mom's parents and my dad's mom.

Ryan's grandma Agatha, who Brynn and Ansley call "Gigi."

Brynn's three great-grandmas.  How cool is this?

Marlee loves Brynn!
We are friends with their family, and she also happens to be in my kindergarten class!
