A Very Christmas-y Weekend

Early in December we had a busy weekend filled with all things Christmas...

On Thursday night my girls and I helped decorate our church for Christmas...we had a BLAST!  And stayed up way too late...HA!

Friday the girls and I did some Christmas shopping/errands and then met Granny and Pawpaw for lunch at Chick-Fil-A!

That night we went downtown with my parents to this "Christmas Downtown" thing...you have tickets you deliver to 12 different stores downtown and enter for a chance to win a big shopping spree.  We didn't win, but we had a great time taking a carriage ride, looking in the Hutson's Christmas window, and window shopping downtown.  SO FUN!

Saturday morning Ryan and the girls hung out while I went on the Christmas Home Tour.  I LOVE doing this every year and seeing beautiful houses all decorated for Christmas.  One of the ladies whose home was on the tour had contacted me in the fall about making Christmas cookies for her that she would put in her kitchen on tour day...I forgot to snap a picture of them at her house but they were in the newspaper!

First pic...wow!

Then we went to Osage to help with Feed My Starving Children.  You work a 2-hour shift and pack thousands of meals.  We got to hang out with the college students and had a blast!  Anytime you get to wear hair-nets and serve Jesus how could you not have fun?  HA!

Saturday night Miss Alaina came over to babysit the girls while Ryan and I went to the big Saint Francis Christmas Party at the Venue.  The girls were so excited and got to get their nails painted and have hot chocolate and Christmas movies with Alaina and we got to get all dressed up and have a yummy Christmas buffet and celebrate all the things Saint Francis does...WIN WIN!  And the fact that Jason and Sarah go makes it even better!

Sunday morning we were up early for church AND matching!  SO CUTE!

That night our church put on their annual Christmas program and it was AMAZING.  Several of our friends are SO TALENTED and sang solos and it was just an incredible night.  I held back the ugly cry several times...just a very special night.  Afterward we came back to my parents and had a little Christmas get-together...almost like her annual Christmas Eve party.  Such a great ending to a great weekend!

Camden sang in the program and did a great job!  T-Nonnie and Boo came to watch him so they all came to the after-party =) as well!  Brynn and Camden play so well together!  SO CUTE!
