Happy Fourth of July!

We had a great Fourth of July!  Our niece Ansley turned 5 on the Fourth of July so we were heading to St. Louis to spend the weekend with her (more on that later).  We divided the day in half and spent "before naptime" at my Aunt's house in Zalma, drove to St. Louis while the girls took their afternoon nap in the car, and then spend the rest of the day in St. Louis!

I didn't take many pictures at my aunt's house, but we always have such a great time!  They have a pool if we want to swim, we just relax and eat yummy food, and Brynn's old enough now where she likes to play with my cousin's old Barbies!

We left around 2:30 and the girls took a nap on the drive to St. Louis.  We got to our hotel around 4:30 and joined Pamaw and Papaw, and Uncle Jason, Aunt Sarah, and Ansley and Charli at the hotel pool!

After getting all of our stuff settled, we headed to a yummy dinner, and then to Webster Groves (we were staying nearby) to see the fireworks.  We randomly found a GREAT place to watch the fireworks (thank you tipsy college students for being so excited to show us the bridge! HA!) and it turned out SO GREAT!  We were far enough away where they weren't too loud, but we could see the fireworks so well!  Emory did so well even though we kept her up really late, and the girls were having fun watching the fireworks (and eating snacks).  It was a special night!

HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY!
