A week or so ago our Parks and Rec Department had their annual "Parks and Rec Day" at the Osage Center. I used to work for our Parks and Rec Department when I was home over the summers in college, so it's fun to take the girls to a few of the events I used to work at. My mom hadn't been before, and since she was off on Friday, she got to go too!
A bunch of different places from around Cape come and have booths set up...Lazy L Safari, the Conservation Center, movie theater, etc. There are lots of fun snacks and lots of fun things to see and do!
There were lots of fun mascots...Rowdy the Redhawk, PlayMo, Tracker from the newspaper, etc. Emory loves waving at them, but if she gets too close, watch out! Brynn LOVES them.
We had to go back to the obstacle course...
We had a really good time..we even got free snow cones on the way out! YUM!
It was a very fun morning. Brynn's last skip in the above picture says it all! Yippee!
