Fourth of July was on a Saturday this year, so on Friday we worked on some fun projects and then went to visit my grandparents in Oran to watch their big neighborhood fireworks show!
We dyed rice different colors and then put them in mason jars and used them to hold down our tablecloths the next day...
Then we came inside and worked on some fun dessert...some dipped pretzels and chocolate covered pretzels...never a dull moment in the kitchen with these two but I know they enjoy it and we are making special memories (even if our floor and counters are MESSY MESSY afterward!)

We did some fireworks in the yard before getting ready to watch the firework show!
Emory jumped the first few times but never really got scared like Brynn did when she was little, and Brynn was really into it this year and they didn't scare her at all, so it was SO FUN watching the fireworks with the girls!
