Summertime Memories

The other night we had to run some errands so we made a quick stop for ice cream cones on the way home.  Brynn can finally eat one pretty well...and when we got home we pulled out some chairs and sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful sunset!!  It seems like sometimes those little things leave the biggest impression and just are such happy, sweet, little memories.  

Disclaimer - YES I am wearing goucho pants in these pictures, and YES I wish they were still in style, and YES I still wear them (sometimes even in public!) because they are the most comfortable things I own right now!  I've already gotten plenty of grief from Lindsey and Erika about this, but I DON'T CARE...I will be wearing these babies until September!  And when my sister has kids in a few years, I will gladly pass them down to her and listen to her thank me because they are so much more comfortable than any other pants she owns.  Okay...goucho rant over.  =)

I ate my ice cream down to the cone, which is probably her favorite part.  (She is just now learning she has to start eating an ice cream cone at the TOP and not bite into the bottom of the cone right when she gets it).  She still had a lot of ice cream on her cone and she asked me to switch because she wanted my cone part!  HA!  Score for me!  I was happy to trade and get some more yummy ice cream!

Then when she got to the bottom she needed a little help from Daddy...it was getting pretty messy!

This is what summer is all about...enjoying the warm weather, eating ice cream cones, and making special memories with the people you love the most!  Oh my...do I hear those pregnancy hormones taking over?  HA!
