Nashville - Friday Edition

This past Friday Ryan just worked half the day.  At noon he got home and we loaded up and headed to Nashville for a quick weekend visit with my sister and Curt.  They had been wanting us to come for a weekend, and we couldn't wait!  We got there around 4:30 and hung out at their apartment, and then headed to a quick dinner.  Curt had to work that evening, so we didn't see him until we got back later that night.

After dinner we headed to a couple places to shop.  Brynn already wanted Aunt "Winzee" to
do everything with her!

After dinner and shopping, we decided to hit up the tennis courts at their apartment complex.  (They live in a HUGE complex that has a big pool, tennis courts, park, fitness center, etc.)  My sister is a tennis extraordinaire so she was really excited to give Brynn her first official tennis lesson!  =)

If she's as good as she looks cute, I'd say she's on her way to Wimbledon!  HA!

Unfortunately she must have seen golf a little too much on TV, because that's
what it looked like she was playing!

After her little "lesson" =) she had fun running all over the court, picking up all the balls and swatting at them.  Linz and I played a bit...although at 30 weeks pregnant I didn't really "move" too much around the court!  HA!  Then again, let's be honest, even when I'm not pregnant I can barely play against Lindsey!

After tennis we headed to get some frozen yogurt!  YUM!

When we got back to their apartment, it was time for baths and to get Brynn ready for bed.  Uncle Curt was home from work, so he even got to get in on the action.  She wanted everyone to read books with her, so we all piled in their bed...it was HILARIOUS!

Then Ryan attempted a "group" shot using the self-timer...clearly we were all ready! NOT!

They have a one-bedroom apartment so they let Ryan and I have their bed, and we just put Brynn's pack n play next to it.  Then they slept out in their living room on the couches, which was so sweet.

After we put Brynn to bed, we all hung out together in their living room and just visited and watched TV. And I have to mention that Lindsey's favorite evening activity is watching Brynn on the video monitor...(yes, we brought it even though we were sleeping in the same room.  HA!  It was just nice to have while we were all hanging out, so we knew when she was asleep, etc.)  It cracks Lindsey up how she was in there making a little train with her animals and playing around in her bed before she went to sleep.  Every five minutes Lindsey would yell out "oh my gosh, guys, she is singing to her animals," "oh my gosh guys she is making a train with her stuffed animals", etc.!

Thankful for a safe trip there and a fun evening hanging out with Lindsey and Curt!
