The girls and I had a lot of fun putting together the college students "Finals/Christmas Bags." The girls may not be old enough to go on mission trips but I love to include them in little projects where they can see how to serve others. Brynn is old enough to understand doing service projects to help others and she really got into it. She helped organize the stuff and help put everything in the bags. It was really fun doing it together!
This little one, on the other hand...not so much. It's all I can do to keep her from opening all their candy and treats! HA! She saw me putting ribbon through the bags and kept trying to tie the bags together. Hey...whatever keeps her occupied!
We got to the very last bag and ran out of several things. We had a box in our room that Kyle and Lance sent as a Christmas gift (sorry guys we accidentally opened it early...WHOOPS!) Anyway - it had lots of treats and special food things from Guam. Brynn grabbed out a couple of things, including this SPAM!, and said "hey, let's just give them to the college kid bag!" HA!
Later that week Brynn and Ryan went on a date to the SEMO men's basketball game...so cute!
We had PIZZA and PAJAMA day at school to celebrate the letter P! SO FUN!
Thursday night Miss Ashton called and needed a break from studying and projects so she came over and we took the girls to look at Christmas lights. Jackson Park was so awesome this year...they added lots of lights around trees and this awesome bridge! (That of course the girls had to run across about 80 million times. Brynn made us high-five her like she was running out of the tunnel for a "game." HA!)
