Playin' Around...and GYMNASTICS

Brynn LOVES to help "play" with Emory!!  

Clearly both girls need some work on their "cheese" face...HAHA!

And Brynn is really into making silly faces right now..

Some of Brynn's biggest news is that she STARTED GYMNASTICS a couple of weeks ago.  My friend Kristi is the head coach of SEMO's gymnastic team, and they also run a gymnastics gym in the same facility where the college gymnasts practice.  Some of the team members teach, and Brynn's teacher happens to be Kristi's assistant coach.  Brynn LOVES Mrs. Sarah (who also happens to be a former Mizzou standout gymnast!  Woohoo!)  She goes on Tuesdays from 5:30 to 6:15 and has loved it SO MUCH.  I was AMAZED at all the stuff they had them doing.  It has been so fun to go and watch...it's really crazy that we are at that stage of being parents where we are watching our child participate in something like this...

We watch from the second floor and it's kind of hard to get pictures...but I snapped some of her the other night before she started practice.  I wish I would have taken one with her little leotard on.  They wear a little leotard and shorts, and she picked some sparkly purple ones we found.  =)

I will have to snap some pictures down on the floor soon...it is SO CUTE!  So far she says her favorite thing has been "the block pit" and the trampoline.  They do bars, practiced running to the vault, walked on the balance beam, do a little circuit with rolls and beginning cartwheels, etc.  LOVE IT!
