We decided to try to plant a garden this year...we started a little late so we bought everything from a little plant instead of planting any seeds...and our soil is super "clay"-ish so this year I'm not sure how things will go but we are attempting...HA!
Ashton went with me and the girls to Buchheits to pick out all the plants...oh my word we were a circus in there trying to figure out what to buy and how many of each thing. HA! Then we came back and Emory took a nap while we started planting. The problem was it started raining...we were a mess!
We only planted four tomato plants before calling it a day...HA!
So the next couple of nights (which were much less rainy) the girls and I helped Ryan finish planting everything.
That Saturday we took Caleb and Ashton to a Cardinals game, kind of a graduation gift to her and for all that she has meant to our family this year. We had a BLAST! First Cardinals game of the season for us!
Loved seeing Wacha so close...we went early and watched some batting practice and stood by the bull-pen to watch some pitchers. =) Not very many girls share my passion for sports...thankfully this one gets it just as much as me! =)
Had to stop at Ted Drewes on the way home...YUM!
