The next day we got up bright and early to celebrate Memorial Day in the WINDY CITY! We did a lot of outside things today!
We got to be PROS at the subway...HA! I'm not sure if everyone on the subway with us would say the same thing...but we thought we did pretty good! =)
Outside sculptures...
THE BEAN!
Then we headed to Chinatown to walk around and do a little "shopping" with the girls and get some yummy Chinese food for lunch.
We found an awesome restaurant...it was SO YUMMY and the girls were loving the tea and all the special foods!
Next up...NAVY PIER!
All Brynn could talk about was riding the Ferris Wheel on Navy Pier...she was so excited!
I'll be honest...I wasn't really excited to spend $50 on a 15 minute ride, but we had such a good time and the views were so good! I was SO GLAD we gave in and it was one of our favorite things on the trip!
This kid was OUT...
We weren't going to go to a game, but Ryan really wanted to hop on the Subway and at least SEE Wrigley Field. I'm glad we saw it, but can I just say that the Cardinals stadium is about 100 gazillion times nicer. I wasn't very impressed..
We headed back to our hotel and walked around a super nice outside neighborhood in Chicago...we found a restaurant that looked mostly kid friendly and had an awesome supper outside. It was perfect! (Except when Emory pooped her pants and I had to clean her up with nothing but toilet paper and water...that was REAL fun...NOT!) HA!
We had a GREAT outdoors day...HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY!
