It's coming along...the second floor is all framed up and they are starting to put up the trusses!
This picture is once you go up to the second floor then you are on a little landing (the balcony rails obviously aren't up) and you can see down into the great room.
I was checking it out with my dad the other day...he's in the "eat-in" kitchen area, and above him is Brynn's room.
We have steps to the second floor! (And a shadow of me and Emory in the carrier! HA!) This is looking in from the front door...steps going up, dining room to the right. When you go up the stairs, the girls rooms are to the right.
Trusses are ready to go...
We were having a moment the other night...it was just us and the girls (and since I've taken these pictures, Stuart has started putting some of the roof trusses on so we were looking at that...and also deciding which way certain doors should open...who knew decisions like that would be so difficult! HA!) and we were looking out the windows at the back. The sun was setting, you could hear crickets and frogs down at the pond, and it was just a special little family moment. =)
