A Little High-School Reunion...

On Friday night some of my best friends from high-school got together.  Meredith lives in Washington D.C. and Allison lives in St. Louis, so getting together is tricky.  They were both in town for Thanksgiving so we all met up and had a fun night together.  (Lauren lives in LA and Alisa was in Memphis, and Kelly was out of town visiting family so they weren't there, but 4 out of 7 isn't too bad!)

We went to eat at Paglia's Pizza and then the girls headed over to Meredith's to continue the fun!

After we ate, Ryan and David took Brynn home to play.  Ryan said she had quite the time playing with "Mr. Dave."  She was dancing and serving him tea!  She even cried when it was time for Ryan to take her upstairs for her bath, and so Ryan said "Do you want Dave to come with us?"  She said yes, so poor Dave had to sit with Ryan while they gave Brynn a bath, got her ready for bed, and he even helped read her bedtime stories!  HAHA!  Then she went to bed and Ryan said he and Dave went downstairs to watch the Mizzou game and just hang out.  Dave and Ryan have been friends since middle school but Dave is in the army and so we only see him once a year or so.  He actually ships out in less than a week for South Korea...he will be there for about a year.  Please keep him in your prayers!  

Meanwhile, me, Meredith, and Allison had the BEST time hanging out over at Meredith's...it was just like old times!  HA!  Mizzou was playing basketball so we watched the game in the theater room (what a fun high-school memory!) and talked for hours.  I haven't laughed that hard in a LONG time...mainly because of what happened in the next picture...someone (who will remain nameless...but for the record it wasn't me!) clogged up Vance's toilet in the basement.  We had to fill up the back using a coffee pot to try to get it to flush!  20 minutes and lots of coffee pots of water later, combined with so much laughter my sides were hurting, we FIXED THE TOILET!  SUCCESS!




We also had some hilarious discussions about beanie babies!  Here is Meredith showing off some of her special collection!  HAHA!

I wish we all lived closer...can't wait for Christmas when we can all get together again!
