On Day 4 we woke up in beautiful Key West! I LOVED the beautiful homes and cool history that was everywhere in Key West! We took a hop-on, hop-off trolley tour, which was the BEST! Our guides told us so many cool stories, and we were able to get off and eat, shop, take pictures, etc.

Ready to explore... |
Ryan thought this tree was really cool....oh Ryan, he keeps me laughing! |
This is supposedly a famous sight in Key West, so of course we needed a picture! This is the very beginning of the highway, and it goes all the way over 2500 miles to Maine! |
Oh this is right after we saw a woman sunning herself and reading completely topless...wow.... this also reminds me... there were over 400 15-year old girls from Argentina on our cruise. In their culture turning 15 is like turning 16 in America, so these 400 girls took this trip through America that culminated in the cruise. We kept wondering why there were all these young girls running all over the place, and finally we asked one of them. They also ALL wear thongs for their bikini bottoms... seriously, Brazilian cut is a REAL thing, like I don't even think they can buy normal bottoms. Needless to say, we saw a LOT of butt cheeks this week! |
I hope this is your VERY FAVORITE PICTURE of our whole cruise! HA! I only say that because it was sooooo hot outside and the boys wanted a picture here (another famous picture spot we learned) and Erika and I didn't want to wait, but we had to wait in line 20 minutes (not lying) to take this! And then this darn guy's hand is in the picture...AHHH! |
This isn't the best example, but there were so many beautiful and historic homes everywhere. |
Hemingway's home...we just saw it from our trolley. |
Having a piece of world famous Key Lime pie. |
This famous Key Lime Pie store is on a list of 500 world food experiences you should have in your life...well, I've experienced one now. =) |
My husband likes to take pictures of every place we eat...HA! |
More historic buildings in Key West... |
Dinner the last night. |
The Farewell Show...so cute! |
Our dinner crew all week...with our adorable assistant waiter William (between Erika and I). Tab said "I think you have a little crush on him!" Guilty! He was the cutest thing... he was from Jamaica and has three kids and grand-kids...so cute! |
And our waiter, Kennet. He was from Nicaragua and always had goofy puzzles for us to solve! He has five kids, and he works on the cruise ship for 7 months at a time, and then gets 2 months off. That would be so hard! |
Our favorite friends...trying to solve another puzzle! |
Tab and Erika learned that Ryan is such a great dancer...NOT! |
Ryan's signature dance move during the trip...oh brother... |
Well...that's it! A WONDERFUL week of relaxing and spending time with friends...when can we go back?
We got up the next morning and flew home...so sad that our fun week was over, but so excited to get home to see Brynn!
A HUGE thanks to Ryan's parents and my parents for keeping Brynn for us while we were away. She probably didn't miss us at all because she was having so much fun!
