Birthday Weekend Continues...

That Saturday night we headed to El Sol to celebrate both Brynn and Lindsey's birthdays.  YUMMY!

Grandpa even made Brynn a special "treasure" box with his woodworking tools...she's put several treasures in it already.  This stuff is so special!  Thanks Dad!

On Sunday after church we headed to my parents house to have our annual Easter Egg Hunt...we were going to do it a week early since Lindsey and Curt were here.

You know it gets a little competitive...

We did it inside this year because the weather was rainy and cold outside.  It was actually really fun because like Lindsey said....we kind of know all the spots outside so this was a new challenge!  HA! One of the best parts is when we think all the eggs are found and come in to the kitchen to count and realize there is still "ONE EGG OUT!"  So we all raced around again trying to find it.  Lindsey was the big winner this year!

After Easter lunch and the egg hunt we all headed back to the soccer fields for another round of games.  They were make-up games and the weather was GROSS.  It was so cold that Lindsey put ice warmers in her shoes.  The kids actually enjoyed playing in the crazy weather until the VERY end when it started pouring freezing cold rain and they called the game a few minutes early.
