Last Christmas - Pamaw and Papaw's House

On the day after Christmas we woke up to SNOW everywhere!  It was really pretty, and thankfully the roads weren't bad.  We headed over to Ryan's parents house that morning to celebrate and do Christmas with them.

Before lunch we opened presents.  As tradition, we started off with the reading of the birth of Christ.  Ansley got the honors at Pamaw and Papaw's house this year.  =)

She hasn't wanted to take them off.  =)

Then it was Brynn's turn to hold the book and "read" the story.  HA!

Brynn's loot included lots of Bitty Baby stuff!  She LOVES it!

No, Brynn is NOT ready to ride a bike.  But since Ansley got the bike, Brynn HAD to try it out.

The boots we brought over for Brynn were too small, so Brynn put on some of Ansley's boots, which
were huge.  They got stuck in the snow within like two seconds of them being out there, so it was time to
head back in.  HA!

WHERE'S BRYNN?
She and Ansley have really been into hide and seek lately.
Their favorite spot to hide at Pamaw and Papaw's house is under this bed.  They stayed under there for over five minutes while we "watched" them and "looked" for them.
I just wonder what in the world they "talk" about or do under there.  =)

 We got done opening presents about 1, so Brynn ate a quick lunch and then we put her down for a nap in the pack n play downstairs.  Then we got to EAT and enjoy a delicious lunch!  That was good timing!!!  HA!  After lunch the boys did the dishes and we went out and did a little shopping at some of the after-Christmas sales.  SO FUN!

We are always so spoiled at Pamaw and Papaw's house, and this year was no different!  Thank you for all of our wonderful gifts Pam and Rick, and for such a fun day!!!

Later that night we had our annual date-night with Erika and Tab.  I don't know how many years ago we started this, but we always go to Buffalo Wild Wings and then we usually go to the Christmas tournament to watch the first round of games.  This year the tournament was postponed a day because of the bad weather, so we saw a movie instead.  We had a BLAST!  Just wish these guys lived closer!
