Thursday was Nonna's annual Christmas party. (Nonna is Brynn's sitter...she has watched kids for MANY many years; I was one of her babies 27 yeas ago!) She goes ALL out. Everyone brings lots of yummy food, Nonna buys all the kids multiple presents, Santa comes and passes presents out to each child, and we have a gift exchange. It is a CRAZY fun time!

Brynn was SO SHY the first time around....then she gradually warmed up to doing it. An hour later
when we all did it again she was REALLY into it! |

Then it was time for the big event...we all started singing Jingle Bells and all of a sudden, we heard REAL
BELLS! Santa had arrived! The bigger kids were BESIDE THEMSELVES!

Santa says "is it Bryan??" I hear Nonna say "no, it's Brynn!" HAHA! I hope her teachers don't call her
Bryan for the rest of her life! She was really shy walking up, but I was still proud that she did it on her own. =) |

She kept getting more and more brave as more of the kids names were called. The kids were all scooting closer and closer to Santa and when he would call someone's name they would all start chanting. It was hilarious. Santa would say "Peyton?" And all the kids would start yelling "Peyton, Peyton, Peyton!"

Miss Priss started getting really brave and started walking up to Santa during OTHER people's turns. I hope a lot
of people don't have pictures of their kids sitting on Santa's lap AND Brynn walking around in front! HAHA! |

Abbey's reaction was priceless. I LOVE THIS GIRL! She was my student THREE years ago and has such a
sweet family! Santa asked what she wanted, and out from her pocket she pulls out THIS LIST! HA! |

Ryan and I were laughing at ourselves so much. One present Nonna got Brynn was this Little People Cinderella coach. Ryan looks at me and in all seriousness and so excited says "Oh my gosh, does this go with the Disney Castle we got her?!!!" We both started cracking up...it might not seem funny writing it here, but it was really funny!

What a GREAT party! We had so much fun celebrating with friends, and enjoying the craziness of a million kids all excited for Christmas! SO SPECIAL!
