Indoor Triathlon

This morning we went to St. Francis (the hospital where Ryan works) for the Fitness Plus (that's the gym that's at the hospital) Indoor Triathlon.  The guys had to swim 300 yards in the Fitness Plus pool, bike 5 miles on stationary bikes, and then run 2 miles on the indoor track.  It was so fun watching the guys and cheering them on!

Warming up in the pool...Ryan's heat was first.
They could only let like 5 people start at one time.

Watching the swimmers!

Biking away...they had a bunch of stationary bikes set up in this room.

GO RYAN!

The last part of the triathlon...running!

Good thing Ryan didn't need any water during the running part...
Brynn kept wanting to drink out of his water bottle!

Great job Daddy!
We are proud of you!

Ryan works as a physical therapist at St. Francis.
The gym (Fitness Plus) is right near the physical therapy area,
so Ryan had a key and let Brynn play in the pediatric physical therapy rooms.
She had a blast!

Who is that cute baby in the mirror?

She kept trying to touch her reflection and was laughing and smiling at "her."
It was so funny!
FUN SATURDAY MORNING!  Later today I am helping host a baby shower for a friend, who also happens to work in the nursery at church and had Brynn in her newborn class.  It will be so fun!

On a random note...yesterday the weather was really bad here.  There were really high winds and it was pretty scary!  For the first time EVER at school, we had to take all the students into our tornado safety spots (which for my class is one of the boys bathrooms...gross! HA!)  Luckily everything was fine and we didn't have to stay in there too long (about 30 minutes).  It was an interesting day...

On another random note...February 29 was my first day to NOT pump over lunch at school!  YAHOO!  I didn't know what to do with myself with over 30 minutes to EAT lunch!  My frozen supply is all gone, so I'm still pumping in the morning (and adding formula to make it a 5 oz. bottle).  Then for lunch her bottle is all formula (or a little breast milk if we split my morning "pumping" session).  Then I'm still nursing at 5 and before bed.  It's the first step I guess.  A little sad, but also exciting because Brynn is growing up!
