January Randoms

We've been decorating up a storm around here and we got a new rug...we spent many a night playing around with the best way to put it...I think we've moved it a bit since this pic, but I really love it!

We have a huge flock of geese that keep coming to the pond behind our house..we've had fun naming them and watching them swim and fly.  Brynn named some Elsa, Anna, and Olaf, and my favorite name of all...Honky!  And speaking of honking...they are seriously LOUD in the morning!

Pam's birthday is in January, so we celebrated at our house.  We had so much fun playing this new game...even Brynn and Ansley could play!

We headed to the library to get new books..Brynn always wants to play on the computer but we seriously have no idea how to use them.

Emory thinks SHE can fit into the play baby crib...

Emory has to put up with a lot from big sis...

It was really nice one day after school so we headed out to watch the geese and swing...it was AMAZING!

My sister and Curt came into town at the end of January and before they got here, the girls and I were out running some errands.  Emory fell asleep in the car, so Brynn and I stopped by Starbucks for an impromptu coffee and cakepop...love little things like this!

We were having everyone over for dinner that night, so we stopped by the new Walmart Market here in town to get the rest of the groceries.  The girls were cracking me up!

Emory doesn't know how to suck on a paci to save her life, but she LOVES getting to chew and play with her "PAPI" in the stores.

LOVING the stages my girls are in right now (not that they don't make me want to rip my hair out sometimes...HA!)  But I'm just so thankful for them!!!

We love Footprints!

Our church preschool runs from age 1 (and they have to be walking) through Pre-K.  Emory started going with me in January.  She's going on Tuesdays and Thursdays (and goes to Nonna's or Pam's on Wednesday).  She is doing really well!  It's so fun to peek in and watch her interacting with the other little babies and see her taking buggy rides.  Here is her little class eating snack one day...

Brynn's 3 year old class...

And here is how Emory walked in one day (insert sobbing by mama)

My friend and co-worker Karry takes her kiddos to get free little "sample" ice cream cones at Andi's custard after school some days...she's gotten us started on this little kick.  Even Emory loves it.  The cones are tiny so she doesn't really make a mess...but of course the girls think it is awesome!

During the last week of January we had "Winter Fun Week" at school..each day we dressed up.  Tuesday was "Crazy Day".  We did crazy hair on Emory...

And Brynn got in on the crazy hair action too...

And here's my boss...I mean, how can work not be fun with her??

Caught Emory on a buggy ride and she was loving on Graham...

Then on Wednesday it was "career" day...Brynn and I were Mizzou football players...HAHA!

And Thursday was PJ and Stuffed Animal Day.

I am SO thankful for my job at Footprints and the work I do there.  And I love that my girls get to go with me.  Brynn has learned SO MUCH...it's really amazing,   I can totally see God's hand in putting me there during this season of life.  I LOVE getting to work there part-time and take the girls, and also to be home with them on our days off.   Thank you God!

Martin Luther King Monday

We are currently inside our cozy house, while outside there are about 10 inches of snow falling!  WHOA!  What better way to get caught up on the blog???

On Martin Luther King day we had such a fun day!  I can't even believe it was warm enough to go to the park, but it was!  We met friends at LeBounce, then had lunch at Chick Fil' A, and then headed to the park.  The girls had a BLAST and I loved getting to hang out with my friend Erin and catch up while our kiddos played!

I'm not sure why these pictures are out of order..

Sliding at LeBounce!

Erin...why didn't we take a picture of ourselves??? HA!
