Father's Day Craftiness...

After looking on Pinterest for some Father's Day gift ideas, my sister and I settled on this little snack kit.  We decided I would make one for Ryan and we would make another one for our Dad.  Brynn even got in on the action and tried to help.  It turned out pretty cute!

The teacher in me was thinking "wow, this is a great exercise for fine motor skills!"
Seriously...isn't that pretty good for an almost 15 month old? HA!

FINISHED PRODUCT!

Brynn made this at library story time this week...she's so advanced that she can even write words!  HA!
I hope Ryan likes his gift and will actually take it to work.  I'm a little worried he's going to think it's nerdy!  HA!

Swimming Lessons

For the past couple of weeks Brynn has had her first little "swimming lessons."  Kelly, who teaches music at Orchard, also gives swimming lessons during the summer.  She suggested Brynn and I might like to come to her "mommy/baby" swim class.  We have had so much fun!  Really we just bob around in the water, chase after little toys, and sing little songs, but it has been a special little time for us.  Brynn even went under one day!  Ryan has taken Brynn on Tuesdays, because he's off work on Tuesdays, and I somehow coerced him into taking a few pictures!

Cute little swimsuit and cover-up!

Brynnie and Daddy

Yo...you talking' to me??

What a cutie patootie!  She really seemed to enjoy the water, even though it was pretty cold!  (Actually, that was probably the worst part of taking her...I had to GET IN the cold water everyday!  HA!  The sacrifices we make for our children...ha!)

This just CRACKS ME UP!  Evidently Ryan went out to our garden and brought in a BIG zucchini...I turned around and saw THIS!!!

Pink Sunglasses

Now that summer is here, I'm usually wearing my sunglasses every time I"m outside or in the car.  Brynn has a really cute pair that we always like to put on her but she rarely keeps them on more than a few seconds.  Yesterday she kept trying to put my sunglasses on and actually kept them on for awhile, so we when got ready to leave the house I figured I'd try putting hers on.  She left them on the entire car trip and I kept turning around and dying laughing because she just looked so cute!  Look at this little thing!

I have absolutely no idea why THIS TIME is the time she wanted to leave her sunglasses on, but she sure looked cute doing it!

Just a couple other things she is doing lately that I want to remember...

She is really obsessed with toilet paper.  She loves to pull it out and open the toilet lid, put the paper in the toilet, put the lid down, and then flush the toilet!  If I'm going to the bathroom, she usually comes in, grabs one square of TP (that's all I'll let her take), and tries to like move my legs out of the way so she can get the toilet paper in the toilet!

She is also really into "burping".  A couple of weeks ago she was playing with a baby at my mom's house.  My mom held the baby and patted her back and made the baby "burp" and made this really funny grunting sound.  Brynn now picks up her babies and makes them "grunt" when she pats them.  It is hilarious!  And anytime I'm hugging her and patting her back she thinks she is supposed to "grunt" and gets this big smile on her face!

And the Wedding Continues...

Okay...here it is!  The final installment of wedding pictures!

Ty walking his mom (my Aunt Gina) down the aisle, with Uncle Tim right behind.

Nixon did a GREAT job as a ringbbearer!

Sweet Ebby Lee as the flower girl!
The whole place was packed, but for some reason nobody sat in the row behind us.  HA!

It was a beautiful ceremony!
But I just HAVE to put this in here...it was right about this time when Morgan was saying her
vows...Ebby Lee let a big "tooter-wooter" (as Ansley would call it).  We all DIED laughing (Lindsey, Ryan,
Erika, Tab, and I all heard it)...it was SO LOUD!
Oh my gosh, we could not stop laughing and then we were trying to all not laugh which made us laugh more!

After the ceremony they had fun games to play...Nixon and Brynn tried to hillbilly golf!

My grandparents!
The reception was so much fun!  The inside was decorated so cute and the food was DELICIOUS!  There was even a photo booth for all of us to dress up and be silly in!

Tab, Nixon, Erika, and Ebby Lee

HAHA!

My grandpa and Aunt Tina!  OH MY!  I know Aunt Tina is going to love this one!

We are so blessed with such a wonderful family, and Ty and Morgan's wedding was a great weekend we were all able to spend together!!

Ty and Morgan's WEDDING!

I realize that I took quite a LOT of pictures this weekend, so I'm going to put these wedding pictures in two posts.  We were supposed to be at the wedding early to take some family pictures, so we got to hang out inside the reception area and also had time to play with the animals all before the wedding started.  So...here are some pictures from BEFORE the wedding.

She is quite the WIGGLE WORM these days!

Half the family with Morgan and Ty...

Other side...Morgan's sweet little brother took these pictures for me
and couldn't quite fit us all in.

Erika's mom and dad...Aunt Tina and Uncle Bruce...
or T-Nonnie and Boo as they are affectionately called by their grandkids.
Brynn wanted to play with Nixon's suspenders.

HOW CUTE ARE THESE?
Morgan did such a great job decorating!  I think this wedding could be
featured in a magazine for "rustic chic" weddings!

It was just such a beautiful day and the setting was perfect!

I wanted ONE GOOD PICTURE of me, my sister, and my cousin.
I think Tab took this...Tab...I'm not real happy with how this turned out!  HA!

Ebby Lee was so sweet with Brynn all weekend.
Cute girls!

I can just hear Ebby Lee now..."Hear Brynnie do you want some water?"

BEAUTIFUL BRIDE MORGAN!

The wedding was outdoors and the reception was in the barn nearby.
There were horses and cows around and the kids couldn't wait
to try and feed them and pet them.

My cousin Tori (one of the bridesmaids) and little Nixon.

The whole family hanging out inside the reception area to cool off before the wedding started.
We had such a fun time at the wedding...can't wait to share more pictures soon!
