Birthday Soccer Morning

The Friday night before Brynn's birthday party, Lindsey and Curt got to town.  We hung out at my parents and watched March Madness basketball and had lots of fun playing with some silly phone apps...my phone camera was FULL of these face swaps and silly faces...OH MY!

Saturday morning we got up and headed to the soccer fields bright and early for picture day and then a 9 am soccer game.  It was SUPER cold but the girls played great!

Brynn even got to be a "captain" at the game.  I think she scored 7 or 8 goals!  Go Brynn!

Cookies and Conservation Center

The Friday before Brynn's birthday party was a busy day...we worked on some birthday cookies...

Then we headed to the Conservation Center to meet Kelly and Paxton.  Emory had on a new little workout outfit and looked ADORABLE so I had to snap a pic...

These two were having lots of fun!  And Brynn...not sure why I don't have any pics of her.  =)

The weather was pretty nice so we even got to take a little hike on the Conservation Trail!

Then we took the kiddos to eat at McDonalds...not Kelly and I's choice but oh well.  We let the kids pick.  =) They had so much fun together!

We made a little family trip to Bucheits to get grass seed...

Brynn did some pre-birthday shopping with Pamaw...they had a BLAST!

Later that night we had soccer practice and about 20 minutes before practice ended, the ice cream truck drove through the park.  Let's just say practice ended about 20 minutes early that day...and one of her coaches bought all the girls ice cream! =)

Half-Birthday and Hiking

On Monday March 14 this little lady celebrated TWO AND A HALF!  We had birthday cinnamon rolls with a candle inside!  =)

The weather was so nice that day so the girls and I headed to our favorite little trail!  It was GLORIOUS!

BIRTHDAY BASKETBALL GOAL!

Brynn really wanted a basketball goal for her birthday so the weekend before Ryan got it and we had a blast getting it all set up!

It may have taken an additional helper (since I wasn't too good at the heavy lifting and maneuvering).

They stayed out for quite a while that first night and had so much fun playing together...Ryan was living the dream of teaching his kiddos his basketball skills.  =) HA!

She loves to get out there and dribble, but she has seen a little too much fancy dribbling by our college girls and keeps trying to dribble behind her back and under her legs...HA!

Lots of fun basketball memories in our future!

Mid-March This and That

And then stopped by my moms because Aunt Gina was in town and they were all having lunch and playing cards together...

And played outside a LOT over the next couple of days!
