Gravy and Emory's Shenanigans

Granny...you'd be SO PROUD!  HA!  We had a special breakfast for the college kids after church on the Sunday after Judgment House and I had to make a crock pot full of homemade gravy...yikes!  I think it turned out pretty good...here's me getting started...

Sarah and I got to go through Judgment House with Exalt on that Friday night...Ryan was deer hunting that night so we didn't see him play satan...but it was quite interesting to have one brother play satan and the other play Jesus!

This little lady had quite a week...she drew all over herself and the couch (PRAISE THE LORD WE GOT THAT OUT) and then not 20 minutes later I went to the bathroom for TWO MINUTES and came back to find her turning on the kitchen sink and spraying water ALL OVER THE KITCHEN...like we had to pull the refrigerator and dishwasher out to clean underneath because water was all over the floor...OH CHILD...

And yes...that's red marker (not blood! HA!)

We were getting ready to eat a quick supper and head to the girls' basketball game at Semo when the crazy water incident happened...so we were a tad late...GRRR.  But once we got there we had so much fun cheering on Ashton and Kaley and getting to see Rowdy.  Emory spends half the game running all over the place and the other half trying to find Rowdy and yell his name.  When we finally found him she would high-five him but doesn't want to get ANY closer.  HA!

WOOHOO!  GO MISS ASHTON!  Not only does this girl know how to BALL, she loves Jesus with all her heart and it has been a blast getting to know and love on her this semester through our college group at church.  Our girls love her so much and we do too!

Deer Hunting Saturday

Ryan had a pretty successful deer hunt...he, his dad, and Mike all got deer this year!  Ryan got a buck, but it wasn't big enough for him to want to get it mounted (thank you Lord)

The girls and I worked on an outdoor project...

and that Saturday morning while he was still away hunting the girls and I went to a birthday party for a little friend in Emory's class.  Kendall's big sister is in Brynn's class so they were both SO excited!

I think this might have been one of the first parties that was for EMORY to go to!  And not just one of Brynn's friends parties that Emory got to tag along to.

After naps Ryan headed back and we all went to a wedding reception together and I don't have one single picture of us all dressed up on my phone!  BOO!  After the reception he dropped us off at home and headed back up to church for his final night of Judgment House...I put the girls to bed and watched the Mizzou BYU game on TV..my dad and relatives were there and TAB WAS REFFING!  AND PRAISE THE LORD WE WON!

It's been a ROUGH year to be a Mizzou Football fan...but we are hanging in there...HA!

Flu Shots and Girl Time

We got flu shots and this girl was amazing!  She has been around Aunt Lindsey and heard her talk enough of giving shots that I guess she thinks it's "pretty cool".  She didn't cry at all...just laid there, squeezed my hand, and told Emory it was no big deal.  I don't know how we are related...I felt a lot more like Emory...

But a couple minutes later even Emory was all smiles....they love getting suckers and stickers at the pediatrician!

At school the week before Thanksgiving I had to find all the boxes our college group put together because we didn't put the right shipping tags on them...OH MY.  It was a little like finding a needle in a haystack!

Ryan served in Judgment House (he was Satan while his brother Jason was Jesus...HA!) so for a week he would pretty much have to go straight to church from work and we didn't really see him for a week...combined with deer hunting and we had a girls week.  Lots of playing Candy Land, playing "Christmas store", and lots of other fun things.

Since it was on school nights Emory was in bed by 7:30 and Brynn and I had some fun big girl time playing store with Christmas catalogs and watching movies together and playing games.

At school one day I was walking by the library and saw Brynn, Scarlett, and Millie sitting like this listening to the library story.  ADORABLE!

Brynn picked out some things for Santa...OH MY!

Running errands to Target with these girls is never dull...I needed to get my flu shot but they told me it would be about 25 minutes until it was ready.  I think that's their marketing strategy...how can you stay in Target for 25 minutes with two little girls and not buy out the Dollar Spot?  HA!

Ryan was away deer hunting and Brynn said he needed this headband...

Daddy Daughter Fishing Fun!

It does not get old watching the girls go fishing with Daddy!

After Ryan and Brynn caught FOUR little fish the girls wanted to cook them for supper...they got quite the lesson in how to fillet a fish...YUCK!

Love watching them do special things together!  =)

This and That

Sometimes these girls annoy the heck out of each other and sometimes they play SO WELL together.

Ran a couple of errands and had to stop by Sears...they LOVE any store that has fun carts.  =)

Wearing our Mizzou shirts to school one day...praying we would get a win (or just a TOUCHDOWN!)

Brynn can be so shy when she sees people, but Emory is usually QUITE the opposite.  =)  The college kids came over to help pack shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child and Emory loves to love on them all...=)

And how crazy is this...Kaley goes to our church and her boyfriend goes to SBU and knows my cousins!  SMALL WORLD!

Did Emory's 2 year pics and they turned out so good!  LOVE THIS LITTLE CRAZY GIRL!

We got to watch Ansley's last soccer tournament of the season...GO ANS!

College Games and Redhawk Basketball

We usually have some crazy game before our lesson on Sundays...on this particular Sunday we had the college kids try and solve one of those crazy puzzle things...

Not sure these guys always love my crazy games...HA!  But they humor me and always act like they are having fun...

November meant the start of basketball season so we are loving cheering on Ashton and Kaley at the Redhawks games...Brynn and one of her buddies Bella were HILARIOUS cheering on the girls.  I'm pretty sure they made the dance cam a couple of times...HA!

Brynn wasn't too sure about high-fiving the team until Bella and Emma and Andrew got there...

WOOHOO!  Little blurry but we loved watching Ashton and Kaley run out!

GO REDHAWKS!
